About Becca LaFond

Becca LaFond serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Empiric Health. In this position she oversees the consulting services provided by Empiric, including the implementation of Empiric’s innovative software application. Becca has a track record of success delivering large, complex consulting engagements focused on improving performance in clinical operations for hospitals and health systems.

Becca has more than 15 years of experience in provider performance improvement consulting. Prior to joining Empiric Health, she led the National Practice for Clinical Operations Management Consulting at Accenture. She was also a Managing Director at Huron Consulting Group, where she focused on implementing best practices in clinical operations in hospitals and health systems across the country. Key areas of focus have included population health, patient engagement, patient flow, Perioperative Services, Emergency Department operations, Care Management and reducing unnecessary clinical care variation.

Becca holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and masters degrees in Business and Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington.
